Alright I have gone out today spoke with a good friend of mine who is in the media biz, we sat down in Don Giovanni’s in Manchester city centre having our ritual Sunday breakfast having a deep inside chat about how the fitness industry is changing.
We got talking about how it used to be train hard, train hard, train hard to lose weight but now, too many personal trainers preach “train hard” but never preach how to get your screwed on right.
It is THE most important thing to do and that’s sort your head out, so I compiled a huge list of things you can use to take ACTION on right NOW.
All of these are all linked to making your mind your fortress, always staying positive and motivated…Here they are, enjoy!
1. Watch lots of action, thriller films – the film directors didn’t make the movie to make you feel pumped up after just for show..jpg)
2. List 10 people who you find inspirational
3. Write down 10 additional things why – What is it about them that make you feel awesome?
4. Talk to 10 people right now and tell them what your fitness goals are
5. Stay away from the news – Life is full of challenges enough already as it is, don’t add additional bad news to fuel the fire.
6. Watch the secret – Write 5 things how the film will apply to yours
7. Low information diet – Spend less time on Facebook, msn blogs, newspapers, T.V, magazines, anything that does not ADD to the VALUE of your LIFE and HAPPINESS.
8. Write down your Dreams – On paper right now, I mean it!.jpg)
9. Write down how you will get to those dreams and make them a reality.
10. Workout as minimal as possible - But work your butt off as hard as possible.
11. Keep Your Life in perspective – There are people who would KILL in order to have your worst day.
12. Hire a Trainer to keep you working as hard as you can possibly work.

15. Always Always, Always Learn new STUFF – Anything along the lines of your DREAM learn more off, I’m always learning how to be a better Trainer, Thus keeping me PASSIONATE.
16. Do not, ever, let other people bring you down

17. Keep negative people as far away as possible from you –You know the ones that tell you, “No Jane, you never started a fitness program, why start now” or “Its too late, you already have no time” You get my drift.
18. Read “How to win friends and Influence people” By. Dale Carnegie – Personal life and business, this book changed my life.
19. Every Day you wake up in the morning, be GRATEFUL for all the things you have.
20. Always watch comedy –Pick any type that rocks your boats, I personally love Scrubs and Friday Night at the Apollo.
21. Always Laugh
22. Best way to win an argument is by AVOIDING it. This along will make you so much happier in general.
23. Workout MINIMAL and MAXIMAL of 3 times per week – Anybody telling you that you need more than 3 days a week to workout is not working out the right way.
24. Cut out 1 Junk Food per Week, Within 1 month you WILL feel so much more energetic from replacing those with healthier options
25. Set yearly, monthly, weekly and daily goals.
26. Never Compromise your Values, and your Goals

ourself, A lot –Yes I am serious
28. Visualize what you want until you feel that swirling feeling in your stomach… Then hold that feeling as long as possible.
29. If you feel like you can't do something say, "but if I could do it, what would I do"
30. Say your goals in present tense in front of a mirror each morning and evening (I'd rather be really goofy and HEALTHY, than look cool smoking and UNHEALTHY to live my life’s dream)
31. The first step to CHANGE is AWARENESS.
32. Stay far away from complainers
33. Every time you blame, justify or complain, You’re DESTORYING your chances of success and MOTIVATION
34. The number one reason people don't get what they want is because they don't know what they want. – So make sure you make a list.
35. Teach others, Give other people tips and share your story to others

36. Give yourself the permission to look in the mirror and say “ I look sooo good today”
37. Treat yourself at least once a week to a “free meal” Eat what ever you like but do not abuse it by binging
38. Do high paced running/jogging or Interval Training to replace long slow cardio – No body likes long and slow cardio, it’s the biggest motivation killer of all time.
39. Educate yourself about any aspect of health and fitness – I can tell you what to do but without at least some knowledge, it will be harder to make adaptations to your workouts and nutrition on your own.
40. Get a spray tan – It will help highlight your muscle tone a lot more
41. Make as many people as possible smile every day. The energy will come back to you. 
42. Surround yourself with like minded people.
43. Be a "pumper upper" to as many people a day as possible.
44. Cut negative people out of your life.
45. Raise your energy!
